Q.) Can the service be used from my mobile phone?
A.) Yes! But
as opposed to BT and Cable whose prices are readily available
some mobile networks may charge differently, please check
with your network.
Q.) Can the service be used from a payphone?
A.) Yes, using
the small change in your pocket or a BT Card. [See this link for more details]
Q.) Is VAT included in the price per minute?
A.) Yes! The
cost of a 6p call is 5.1p/min plus VAT at 17.5%
Q.)
Is there a minimum call charge?
A.) This is
not determined by us but is part of the standard terms of
the provider you use to access the service i.e. BT, Cable,
T-Mobile.
Q.)
At what point do I start getting billed?
A.) Billing,
via your provider, starts when you connect to our 'switch
platform'.

Any calls using our numbers
will be billed by your usual telephone service provider to the account holder
for that line. Please obtain permission from that account holder before using
the Phoenix Telco service.Calls are charged from the time you are connected
to the Phoenix Telco service, at rates published by us from time to time. For
a BT line the rates are available on their website, other service providers
may charge a higher rate, please contact your service provider for further details.
We reserve the right to terminate any call if we consider it is being made unlawfully
or fraudulently. The service is subject to availability.
